Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the LocalBridge browser extension and website. LocalBridge is provided by Michele Francesco Matozza. By purchasing, installing, or using LocalBridge, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Product description

LocalBridge is a browser extension that sends the content of your open browser tabs into compatible AI chat interfaces, such as Claude and ChatGPT, so you can avoid copying and pasting. A licence key is required to activate the extension.

2. Licence

Your purchase grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use LocalBridge on up to three devices at the same time. The licence key is for your personal or organisation use only. You may not sublicense, resell, distribute, or transfer the licence.

3. Payments

LocalBridge is sold as a one-time purchase for $3.99 USD. We do not offer subscriptions or recurring billing for this product.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides customer service inquiries and handles returns. You can review Paddle's Buyer Terms at paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms.

4. Refunds, returns and chargebacks

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with LocalBridge, you can request a full refund of your one-time purchase within 30 days of your order date, no questions asked. Refunds are processed by our payment provider, Paddle. To request a refund, visit paddle.net or contact our support team at hello@localbridge.tech with your order email or licence key. Returns: because LocalBridge is a digital product, there is nothing physical to return. A refund request within the 30-day window counts as your return of the product. When a refund is approved, the purchase is reversed and the associated licence key is deactivated, so the extension will stop unlocking features on your devices. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method through Paddle.

Chargebacks: if you have an issue with a charge, please contact us or Paddle first at paddle.net so we can resolve it quickly. A chargeback (disputing the charge with your bank or card issuer) can be filed by you at any time, but it is slower than a refund request and is handled by Paddle as Merchant of Record. Filing a chargeback automatically flags the associated licence key, which may be deactivated while the dispute is reviewed. Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may lead to termination of your licence under Section 9.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse LocalBridge. Prohibited conduct includes:

• Using the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
• Fraud, spam, or impersonation.
• Infringing intellectual property or other rights.
• Interfering with the security or availability of the service, including malware, probing, scraping, or reverse engineering.
• Using LocalBridge to violate the terms of service of any website or AI platform.

6. Intellectual property

We retain all rights, title, and interest in LocalBridge, including its software, documentation, branding, and content. We grant you only the limited licence described above.

7. Service level

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Because LocalBridge depends on third-party websites and AI platforms that we do not control, compatibility may change over time.

8. Account security

You are responsible for keeping your licence key secure. If you believe your licence key is being used without your permission, contact support.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your licence for material breach of these terms, non-payment, fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious policy violations.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the amount you paid for LocalBridge in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits or data, except where prohibited by law.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

12. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of LocalBridge after changes means you accept the revised terms.
